Train-the-Trainers Initiative in Genomics & Bioinformatics (TTT–GB)

Exclusively for Lecturers Across
Emerging Research Ecosystems

The Future of Life Science Research Is Data-Driven.

A Two-Day Hands-on Intensive Research Design and Omics Analysis for Lecturers to Advance Leadership in Genomics, Bioinformatics & Computational Biology.

Genomics and computational biology now shape global research across cancer, infectious diseases, public health, microbiome science, and translational medicine.

However, in many academic environments, their strategic research potential remains underleveraged.

The Train-the-Trainers Initiative (TTT–GB) is designed for forward-thinking lecturers who seek to expand research direction, design scalable themes, and position their departments within modern genomic research ecosystems.

This is not a technical workshop.

It is an academic leadership intensive.

Program Details

Who This Initiative Is For

TTT–GB is reserved for university lecturers and research-focused academic staff in life science and biomedical disciplines who are interested in:

  • Expanding intellectual scope in genomics and computational biology

  • Designing multi-year research themes

  • Exploring translational and interdisciplinary opportunities

  • Leveraging public datasets for novel research directions

  • Positioning their institutions for competitive genomic research

Participation is application-based and limited per cohort.

Expanding Research Vision & Blueprint Development

Participants will explore:

  • Emerging global research frontiers in genomics

  • Underexplored domains within continental research contexts

  • Data-driven research architecture

  • Translational pathways in computational biology

  • Guided Research Blueprint Sprint

Each participant will develop a structured Research Concept Blueprint including:

  • Defined thematic direction

  • Biological or disease focus

  • Potential dataset sources

  • Analytical approach

  • Publication and expansion strategy

Participants submit a refined concept note at the conclusion of the program.

Practical Validation & Execution Realism

Bridges concept with feasibility.

Participants will engage in:

  • Dataset discovery and mapping

  • Analytical workflow demonstrations

  • Research feasibility framing

  • Identification of execution bottlenecks

  • Translational impact considerations

The objective is to validate conceptual ambition with realistic implementation pathways.

Are you a Lecturer or Research Supervisor?... Then this is for you, don't miss out.
